Patriot Automotive Servicing is a newly registered enterprise founded by Anmol Pratap, committed to putting the often neglected but important topic of car maintenance on the front line.

Prevention is better than cure they say, and they are right about that. Getting all aspects of your vehicle inspected and serviced in due time is the number one solution to avoiding unexpected major disasters. Your automobile will patriotically serve you if you look after it properly.

After learning his car maintenance and inspection skills from American automotive gurus, Anmol is dedicated to bring home that same American style and standard of service. The iconic #ICYGRL you see driving on the streets of Suva city is his personal ride. No average person has ever managed to guess her true age and Anmol believes that is the mark of a well maintained car, the litmus test of truly great ownership.

Japanese-made vehicles, especially from the top dogs Toyota and Honda, he believes, age gracefully like a fine wine, akin to the stereotype about all Asians looking similar or not showing many signs of ageing.

What‘s the latest with icy grl?

ICY GRL gets new window tints and front stabilizer bar end links. This is the first and only known mechanical work performed on ICY GRL since the import to Fiji. She has been so tough and reliable that nothing ever broke or rattled. Regardless, the idea is to keep her preventative maintenance done.

ICY GRL’s features have also been upgraded in a big way - a few months ago she got equipped with a 10.1 inch wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay infotainment system along with a newer reversing camera. This is extremely rare and unique for a 2nd generation Insight to be so modern, in fact more modernly equipped than the vast majority of vehicles on the road today.
